Weldon Russo

Weldon has been an occupational therapist/hand specialist for 20 years. Early on, he worked at St. John’s Sports Medicine while his wife was studying optometry. Later, he moved to Fort Worth and worked at Harris SW for eight years. He, along with co-founder Luke McKenzie, started Fort Worth Physical Therapy in 2008.

Weldon loves people. Movement is life, and he is passionate about helping people move better. He specializes in hand therapy and enjoys treating fractures of the upper extremity. He also specializes in splinting and making casts and served two years on the State Board for Texas OT Association.

He is married and has three daughters, all who enjoy sports. In his free time, Weldon loves to coach basketball, volleyball, and softball at Lake Country Christian School. He also coaches select softball all year round.
