Matt Stewart

Matt graduated with a master’s of physical therapy from the University of Oklahoma in 2009. He began his career working in an outpatient orthopedic setting in Austin, then moved back to his hometown of Fort Worth and worked in a Rehab Hospital setting. Later, he managed a contract home health company in the Dallas-Fort Worth area where he gained skills in leadership, marketing, and staff development. Matt currently serves as Therapy Director of Fort Worth Physical Therapy’s Camp Bowie location and is thankful for the opportunity to work with such a skilled and passionate group of coworkers.

Matt uses a combination of approaches to treat his clients. He has completed continuing education and has additional certifications in manual therapy, soft tissue & joint mobilization/manipulation, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation, and prefers a functional-based exercise approach to regaining mobility and independence. He most enjoys the opportunity to build relationships with his clients, encourage, and assist them in getting back to doing the things they enjoy most.

When he is not at work, Matt can be found spending time with his beautiful wife Ali, his two boys Mason and Sawyer, and their dog Brinkley. He’s happiest experiencing God‘s creation with his family whether it be hiking, fishing or just playing in the backyard of his home.
